I think 84 is fine as well.

Just saying peyton had 28 interceptions and his team won only 3 games. He didn't look great right away.

Please proceed to hop off Flaccos jock. The facts when you looks at it is this. He had an average season where all he was asked to do was manage the game and not turn the ball over, he did a good enough job for them to make the playoffs, Collins did the same thing Flacco did, with more effecincy. Doesn't mean he's good just cuz he was under center on a winning team.

Difference is , flacco was playing NOT to lose his team the game (Limit Mistakes) , peyton was always there to win the game for his team.

Ugh....and im pretty sure deserved or not , he was the superbowl mvp.

And yes for someone who said it above , Peyton was terrible first season , but right from the get go he showed signs of being a quick learner. Even with his bad stats they knew after a season or 2 he was gonna be good.

Who does Flacco have to throw the ball to. Five foot 10 inch guys without speed. Flacco played som e very good teams too. The Superbowl champs 3 times, Cowboys, Giants, Colts, Tenn(2), Philly, Skins, and fins.

For a rookie Qb that didnt even play Division I football that's damn impressive. For any idiot that doesnt look at the big picture at that well I just cant help you see. And learning a big boy playbook from a Division II playbook. Heck Brett Farve couldnt do that and he's a Hall Of Famer. U guys should be ashamed of yourselves.
Is he going to retire sometime soon?

Just because Flacco came from DII doesn't mean shit. He was taken with the 18th overall pick so obviously somebody thought he was good. Why does it matter if he played DII or if it was DI? Is he not an NFL quarterback? Do defenses go out and say "oh he played DII, hes not going to be good."?

Did you actually watch the playoff games. The D was dominant in the post-season. His Defense won him that superbowl. Yes they played bad in the regular season but in the post-season the defense won them a superbowl.

I remember that. The Colts D started to step up, that's the only reason they even made it to the superbowl.

And your offense doesn't have to score if your D can.

Without Peyton we wudnt have been in the FUCKING playoffs.....

In the playoffs the d stepped up and won us the sb no doubt

But they wudnt have been there if not for Peyton.

And btw , Superbowl MVP..clearly his stats wernt that bad if he got MVP

Well i agree but i know ppl are gonna laugh but dominic rhodes should've won Superbowl MVP. Peyton won it because he's the quarterback.

Rhodes - 21 carries for 113 yards and 1 touchdown
                          Manning - 25/38, 247 yards, 1 td, 1 int.

EDIT: In the playoffs that year manning threw 3 tds to 7 ints. Terrible.

Lol i always call rhodes the mvp cause he was. He also caught some passes. But them stats for Manning are hardly "game costing" stats. Its not like he was carried in the sb.

In the wildcard divis and con champ maybe. But its a team sport. Manning carried the D all regular season.
