    Steam Christmas Deals!!!

    Well they have begun.

    Ghostbusters is only $7
    GTA 4 is $8
    Left 4 Dead 2 is $37

Then there is the pack deals like the Unreal deal which gives you ever unreal tournament. Its $14.

If you even don't like PC gaming or even have a decent PC there are a ton of old games and indie games on here that will play on your system no problem.

This sale will go on for about a week and they add new stuff to it every once in a while.

I spent close to $300 last year at this time for these lol. Although this year I'm only going to spend maybe $50. Waiting for Batman's pricing to come out.

Of course out of all of them Modern Warfare 2 doesn't budge in price.

I picked up the Civilization4 pack last year. It's $3 cheaper this year with an extra expansion. I am looking at possbly the Jedi pack for $9.99. I do love me some lightsabering.
All you need to know when thinking of the NHL vs Madden series is the two people involved in making the games.

      "rammer" and "cummings"

The NHL series is a giver, Madden takes the load.

        Eido's pack is unbelieveable.

I might pick this up just due to the number of single player games and time spent playings those games.

Steam is the ultimate destination for playing, discussing, and creating games.

$50 Gets you 20 games. BATMAN ARKHAM ASYLUM is worth $30 on its own currently!

One more question for leaffan or whomever can answer, I appreciate the help as I'm not too familiar with Steam.

If a game is compatible with Windows XP but it doesn't have the "(only)" afterwards, can it be ran in compatibility mode on Vista? or Windows 7 once I upgrade?

                  My PC is pretty old.
                  Athlon64 4200
                  ATI Radeon 8000GTO

I may pick up Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 via Steam. I know my PC can run that.

To answer tasty almost all games are compatible with XP still. I don't really know of any that arn't. If anything maybe older games but steam does a good job of packing it with something like dosbox to make it play.

Battlefield 2 the complete collection is 8 bucks people. BUY IT IF YOU EVEN HAVE A SMALL INCLING TO PLAY IT!

                      Only 12 hours on it.

Also the Valve Complete pack is at 74.99 right now. Its insane what you get for that. I'm unsure if they are going to bump it down to 49.99 or not but if they do if you have a computer thats like 5 or 6 years old you should get it.

Includes: Counter-Strike, Team Fortress Classic, Day of Defeat, Deathmatch Classic, Half-Life: Opposing Force, Ricochet, Half-Life, Counter-Strike: Condition Zero, Half-Life: Blue Shift, Half-Life 2, Counter-Strike: Source, Half-Life: Source, Day of Defeat: Source, Half-Life 2: Deathmatch, Half-Life 2: Lost Coast, Half-Life Deathmatch: Source, Half-Life 2: Episode One, Portal, Half-Life 2: Episode Two, Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead, Left 4 Dead 2

Too bad I own all of them already lol.
