Either way, you might be able to return it saying it wouldn't work in your system for whatever reason. They'll give you a new copy of the same game if they don't look at it.

depending on how deep the scratch is. it may be repaired. i scratched the hell out of my l4d disc and game crazy was able to buff it so i could play it. it still had some artifacts in different places so i went to blockbuster and rented a copy switched with the bad copy and dropped it off. voila.

This happened to me...twice...

The game will never be repaired, the Xbox burned that ring on it when it flipped. You can try returning it but if they don't take it then your fucked.. It unfixable =/

I just got NCAA Basketball 10 for Christmas and when I put it in, I turned my 360 from its horizontal position into a vertical one and the system made a loud noise. When I took the game out it had a big ring on it and it reads as a DVD not a game. A screen saying XBOX 360 comes up and thats it. Does anyone have a solution for my problem? Help Plz!

Yeah, game is probably done. You can usually fix it where it'll still play but it will never be the same.

I thought it was common sense to not move your console when a disc is playing? I don't even move my console with a disc in it when its off.

Ah, good ol' archaic disc trays.

But either way, disc tray or not, moving a console with a spinning disc inside is just asking for trouble.
