u saying pwns origins or DA2? u playing on the PC?

I'm sorry.....it doesn't really pwn DA1. DA1 is very good and very re-playable. They do a lot of things right in that game.

The Witcher 2 has drawn me in a bit more. I like only controlling 1 character also. The party system is a bit much sometimes. Geralt (the Witcher) is a very cool character. The whole game has you making many choices and you don't think that they are important but saying "no" to one of the towns folk right in the beginning might come back to haunt you or help later on.

The combat is more action oriented....like Demon Souls. The enemies are hard and the boss fights are even harder. Maybe it is more of a personal opinion but I am like this game better then Dragon Age 1.

yes PC game and you will need a good rig to run on decent setting with a good FPS.

The game is VERY MATURE and I am sure it will be toned down for the console version.

Finally got my platinum star for the PP-2000 in BC2. That gun might be the worst in the game, and I'm glad I won't have to use it again.

Any gun the Engineer gets is garbage.

no no...thats cool you like it more so than DA1...thats a bold statement so when i read that i jumped right to the sites to check the game out. It looks pretty badass.

this is why i hate PC games. sure they are great. But u have to have the most up to date rig to run this shit. And im not about to upgrade my PC every year

Going ahead and playing most of the GTA's again this summer.

I've put in maybe 10 hours into San Andrea's and good god some of these missions piss me off.

I played some GTA: LCS on my PSP during the plane rides and downtime on vacation. Even though I beat it years ago I forgot how fucking hard some of the missions were. I'm actually at a part in the game now, on the second island, where I have three open missions that I have tried numerous times each and can't complete. One involves causing as much destruction as you can with a fire truck and it's a fucking joke. They just don't give you enough time. I hate times missions.

I just beat GTAIV for the first time today. The ending missions reminded me why I decided to not touch the game for a year and a half... they put on a fuckin 20-30 minute mission, and if you die right at the end, bam -- you go to the hospital just to have to replay the entire mission again. Lose all your ammo and everything too. That just infuriated me.

I thought GTA4 finally instituted checkpoints in the longer missions? It's been so long since I played though.

well i was wrong about infamous when i played it before. I thought it was blah...not bad, just wasnt into it. im on the 2nd part of the island and got all the powers i can up to level 2...gotta get to infamous before i can upgrade more.

but the game is pretty sweet this time around. i got me some of those trigger adapter buttons and it makes alot easier to play. glad i gave it another try cause its well worth it

The worst part is the addiction. Of course I seem to have that a lot with quality sandbox games. It's always "One more mission" or "let me get that last blast shard" or "Let me just upgrade one more power". It's the proverbial 'carrot dangling from the stick' that gets me.

There is literally a trophy called "Just One More" in inFamous 2.

Literally spent like 2 hours yestarday trying to sort out a bug in GTA:SA I seriously just want to finish this god dam game now because some of the shit in it is driving me up the wall.

Essentially there was a mission where I pick up a dude, drive around the block and get out of the car to go into some building. The second I get out of the car the controls would cease to exsist and I would have to quit and reload. The first time it happened I hadn't saved in like 2 hours. The rage that came out of the house that day was awesome.

I worked around this bug by walking to where I had to go lol.

They did in Ballad of Gay Tony, I know for sure. I can't remember for Lost, but I don't think that they had them. GTA4 though is still no checkpoints (which makes finally going back to it after Red Dead nearly reason enough to break a controller).
