its the first halo i really played aside from halo 3 beta. reach MP is alot of fun. after they added their "hardcore" mode to the rotation it was awesome.

Its such a better experience online. I love the fact that the "special" games from Halo 3 were on full playlists, like Zombies (which I absolutely love) and Grifball.

And there is hardcore? Is it Team Swat, which they have had in past games, or something different?

Thanks man, that's good to know. I'm about to really get into Infamous, and then NCAA 12 comes out in a couple weeks, glad to know it's a game I can play through fairly quickly. B/c once this fall comes around with so many games coming out, not sure I'll have much time for older ones.

Btw, loved your gamercard set up with both XBL and PSN on there, so I decided to use it as well lol.

thanks...i forgot i even had that since i turned off sigs. lol.....but yeah you can easily beat batman in less than a 5 day rental period. thats probably the only knock on the game is how short it is with no MP. But it really packs a punch into that SP mode. alot of fun, alot of variety, excellent gameplay and some killer scenes....not to mention the trippy vibe the game has

swat...i couldnt remember what they called it. thats about as hardcore as they get. it wasnt part of the playlists when the game was released. But thats all anyone wanted to play so they patched it in. that was my favorite more cause it was all about the headshot

Yeah, its been in previous variants since Halo 2, but only as a "weekend special" gameplay, or as a special game of Team Slayer. I think its a fun change of pace game mode, but I don't think I could play it for a majority of the time.

I think people need to give Reach a chance. I got very annoyed with Halo 3, and stopped playing it. I bought Reach and said I wouldn't play the multiplayer, but just the single player and firefight (I am a sucker for a good science fiction video game.)

Its a breath of fresh air from the other Halos. Probably because there are so many other game modes to play, and it has a better ranking system than the other games. Bungie also knows how to create a great community system as well. The maps are also very varied from what I've played so far, and I like them.

I need a co-op partner, or a few, to at least finish the campaign. I'd honestly like to start over because I don't remember anything about it.

I would also like to play some Firefight as well. I've heard there are some easy cheevos to be had if you adjust certain settings.

You have Reach, right Wings?

If so, if we could find one more we could have a full boat for the campaign. We could probably plow through it on whatever the hardest difficulty is. I know that's what I was playing on the day it released but I think I'm missing the last chapter or two.

The official one from SONY is one of the better ones that doesn't require a set of speakers to fit over your ears.

Most bluetooth headsets will work well for standard voice chat. Just look for one that has good reviews and a good price.

For reference, I use a Nokia BH-216 that sells for about $20.
