According to Polygon.com....will be available for $349 on March 12 in North America, the same day as Ascension, Sony announced today.

Really? I mean, what is the PS3 slim (500gb) at at this point? This comes with it, all of the GOW games and a controller, and a 30 day PS+ pass, and it's specialized (in color)? I looked at it and felt like at least 400. Although as my initial question suggests, I don't know what thins are going for.

I have ZERO interest in this game, but man this seems like a fantastic deal if you have ANY interest in the newer GOW games (I liked 3 well, but after 1&2 the series got a little boring for me). I almost wish I were more into it, because this would be the excuse I need for a system upgrade.

For some reason I'm really craving some GTA right now. I might have to fire up GTA4 or one of the Episodes once I finish Spec Ops.

I feel like, if you're truly craving some GTA in terms of how I grew up with GTA, GTA4 would be the worst.

I also have the trilogy for Xbox, so I could always fire that up as well. But I never finished either of the Episodes From Liberty City, so I'm kind of leaning towards those.

Gotcha, and all of the DLC for GTA is like 10x better than the actual game IMO. So if you were waiting for my approval, go for it!

GOW saga includes 5 whole games + Ascension = 6 full games

Considering you're still rocking a 40gb you should just do it. Get yourself drunk and it will be pre-ordered in no time. ;)

I've been thinking of that too. I guess you have it on 360? I recently got the complete Edition for PS3. It would be cool to go back and forth with someone about the missions and stuff.

Yeah, 360. Let me know when you plan to start and if we're doing the main game or the episodes, and I'm there in a heartbeat. That is, after I finish Spec Ops (which I'm sure will be maybe one more night).
