started playing prototype again 2 nights ago. i think this game really suffered from bad reviews. at least it did for me. plus infamous came out at the same time and got all the love.

but PT is a really soild game. allowing the player to buy the powers they want to use is great and almost gives u a RPG feel. the sandbox style is great because the entire city is open from the start and being open world u have alot of time to practice your moves and cause mayhem

the missions and side activities are nothing to write home about, but its still a pretty solid setup. The story is also pretty average, but i dont care for these long drawn out story driven games anyways so for me its perfect. you get the basic plot of whats going on, but its also very simple and easy to follow. alot of reviews i read said the story was so bad that it was almost a game killer. that is so incorrect because the story is enough to keep u interested in following along with it.

while the framerate and moves are smooth and fun, the overall graphics of the game are pretty bland. its not bad, but certainly a con imo

really solid 8 to 8.5

I finally played inFamous and finished my evil play through. I loved the game and can't wait for the second one.

It took me forever to do one of the missions. How long did it take for you guys to figure out how to destroy the armored buses?

I loved playing the evil path. Much better abilities than if you were good.

As for the buses, I got lucky after getting lit up the first few times. I managed to get on the top and started draining power to regain health when I saw the generator.

The bus thing took a while as I had a Hero save at about that point.

I thought I had to physically destroy the bus so I would Thunderdrop the shit out of the top of the bus.

After that, I stopped playing the game until this past month or so.

...it took going through my Evil playthrough to realize that all you have to do is zap the generators.

It sucks doing it on Hard as well because they stick at least 20 dudes with rocket launchers by the last bus.

From what I've heard, Vanquish is pretty much a 3rd Person Bullet Hell game that was beatable in a day or so... unless you're shooting for challenges or whatever.

What should I play?

Killzone 2, Resistance 2, Splinter Cell Conviction, Singularity, or Dead Rising 1.

If you are a PS+ member you really should download Lead & Gold. It's a fun ass online game and it's FREE. No brainer.

u never played DA? elf mage FTW. whats great about this game is that u can switch to other crew members and play as them. plus u get to level them up yourself with the powers u want them to have. playing as a mage is the best imo.

however long it took u to run thru your first time of ME2, add 40 hrs

Singularity on the basis that it rips off a little of all the good FPS games out there and still manages to be decent on it's own...

My first playthrough, I did everything as an Elf Warrior... Main Quests, side quests, jobs for gold and items, fetch quests, quests that yielded armor or materials to make said armor...

I went 120+ and that was playing as a "good" character.
