30 SP levels, nobody above the age of 20 is truly playing this in secret or is a girl, almost ALL the user-based MP levels are garbage so...
The 1-1 dungeon from Zelda, multiple Mario clones and other levels aping established titles are fine if played once or twice.
BUT, if all I see is trophy whoring levels and hacked bullshit, I see no point to playing it now.
...plus, I have DAII to think about soon. :chomp:Comment

Kidding right? $30 for a 6-month Madden rental, yeah, I'll do that everytime.
Sure am enjoying my FIFA 11 right now with $23 put towards The Show, all for 3 games I would never play again. Such a shitty deal.Comment

There's a bit of a trick to getting this done, but all within their policies so fuck em.
They have a extra 50% promo if you trade in TOWARDS a few select titles. Go for it, pick whatever the hell they want you to pick. Then return the unopened game a couple days (7 day full refund policy) later saying you don't want it, or found it cheaper elsewhere, whatever.
Voila, you then put that return credit + extra 50% onto whatever to put towards what you actually want. The clerk in the store explained how I could cheat the system, so they didn't even care. Other stores may not feel the same, but my local one was cool with it. Don't see how they can really do anything about it though, they can't deny your refund on unopened merchandise.Comment

You need to change your mentality man. Old games lose value to 0, and you aren't likely playing them much.
Why the hell waste that opportunity to save some money?
Buy games the day the come out if you want them, once you know you're done with it, get the fuck rid of it. Especially sports games, if you have lost the fun after 5-6 months, then don't hang on to it, once the season in real life ends that game will drop to like 15 bucks credit. Before the season ends it'll be 30-40.
I'm on a never ending cycle of buying games for half off or less, just by recycling games that I've beat 3 times over and don't want to keep.
Collect things that go up in value, get rid of things that lose value. Saving Money 101.Comment

Forza 4 is extremely high on my watch list. This is Turn 10's opportunity to submit a death blow to Polyphony, I just really hope they get the physics improved (no computer assisted recovery, or at least the option to disable it).
Pretty good odds I'll be getting a 360 later this year for it.
Don't get me wrong I love GT5 and I give them a 10/10 as far as the racing physics/tracks go, but the other parts of the game (online, career mode) leave a lot to be desired.
edit: I hope I can recover my old account (MMMMBEEEEER), its been years since it was active. Anyone know how I can check? I think I've been through this before and I don't know the CC# it was originally registered with.Comment

Does anyone play Puzzle Quest for XBLA? Easily one of the better 10 bucks I spent, I love playing this.
Basically an RPG intricately laced around a "hexic" type of a puzzle game. Very stimulating occasionally, but I end up playing around 20-30 minutes of it before I zonk out, gets me sleepy.Comment
