Just finally finished the last case in LA Noire. Been sitting on that one for like a month, just never picked it back up. Kind of a bs ending lol.

I have to say, the homicide desk was by far my favorite.

I want Bastion, Trenched and Crimson Alliance...if MS ever gets around to giving me my fucking points back.

so Capcom announces UMVC3 and fans just lie back and take it, GLADLY

We should count ourselves lucky that Capcom is choosing to give us a product, even though so many people are complaining about it and demonizing them. They could trash the entire project, like MML3. They could give it to us and charge 60 bucks for this. But they're not.

              this is gonna be awesome.
I'd rather pay $100 for a great game than pay $60 for a pile of s*** like MK
Come one, it's a fair deal. Do you think they would release a game with very little added.

Try using the thing inside your head called a brain. If they could make it a DLC they would, so it's on a disk, end off, stop crying

You can never underestimate the power of the fanboy. Companies like Capcom, Nintendo and Apple have been banking on this for years. Nintendo can keep putting out the same games over and over and eat them up. Granted, they are usually quality games. They also have a tendency for re-releasing games multiple times, most recently with Ocarina of Time on 3DS. Then you have Apple that release a new iPhone or iPad every few months and people just buy it because it's an Apple product and it's the "hip" thing to have. Most of them have no fucking clue what the products are capable of or can do. Hell, I just read a tweet by Tony Hawk the other day that said he kept trying to give a friend directions and they were "writing it down" and were confused. He finally asked "Don't you have an iPhone?" and they replied "Yeah". He was dumbfounded. But that is the mentality these sheep have. Jeff Gerstmann from Giant Bomb mentioned the same thing recently where he said he had several friends with iPhones that constantly say "I just need a phone that makes phone calls and lets me send texts." Then why the fuck do you have an iPhone?!? Capcom has been pretty egregious with it in recent years with small incremental changes to games like MvC and SF4 with retail re-releases, ridiculous DLC initiatives of charging for unlocks of content that is already on the disk (Mercenaries mode in RE5) and of course the whole Re:Mercenaries 3D fiasco on 3DS.

This MvC stuff is really no different than $15 map packs for CoD games. The CoD fanboys, the ones that play nothing but those games 10 hours per day, defend the maps because "I get my monies worth because I've played the game for hundreds of hours" but they aren't seeing the big picture and what a terrible precedence they are helping create by supporting this bullshit. My cousin is one of these clowns. When Elite was first announced he immediately said he was buying it. When I asked him if he knew what the fuck it even was he replied "Nope. But it's CoD and I buy anything CoD." Idiot.

Sometimes I wonder about your posts bro. Do you post from your iPad? It looks like a foreigner is posting under your username sometimes. "I likes the Bastion. It is the good stuff."

I'd have to get an iPad first, which I will never do.

I love pretty much everything about Bastion, it's way better than I expected it to be. Probably my favorite XBLA game with a story since Shadow Complex, might like it better than that even.

Just finished Alpha Protocol, good idea for a game but it's so glitchy, unbalanced and random. Some of the powers you get make the game laughably easy. Then there's the glitches. In one of the few spots I was having trouble beating because of turrets, I get lucky and my guy glitch falls through a guardrail and lands next to the computer that turns the turrets off.

This is also the perfect example of a game that gives you a lot of different weapons, customizations and gadgets but you could easily go through the entire thing just using the pistol you start with.

It was SUCH a great idea, with so many glaring flaws. I honestly never had problems with glitches, but the rest is pretty spot on. The pistols were by far the best weapons in the game (by the end I could basically freeze time and fire off 6 head shots just destroying a room -- yet the upgrades for the Assault rifle and SMG were ASS), and stealth was so ludicrously unbalanced. Running around and killing any entire room of men while those still living just stood there clueless FTL (although by the time I was done I was having fun with the lunacy of it all).

It just felt like at its core it could have been great with the conversation system and the choice mechanics/support characters, but they pulled an Obsidian on it. I wish they had not pretty much given up on a sequel (although I know why they did) as I hoped they might be able to fix a lot of what was broken.

I played it on hard and recruit. Made my guy a pistol/sneaking specialist just cause thats how I usually play. My third specialization was technical aptitude. I only put points in those categories.

I'd either use chain shot and bullet time an entire room of people, or use Shadow Operative (master) and walk around standing up slitting peoples' throats. Then if needed I had that brilliance power which made me able to use my other powers again w/o waiting. My guy was nearly invincible.

Now I'm messing around playing on veteran with a lumberjack beard guy who can just run around CQC-ing everyone.

Hah, that's literally exactly what I did. The only spot I had a little trouble was against Marsdon (I think that was the old dude's name) because I still wasn't really sure what I was doing. By the end of the game I was just straight ruining people.
