IDK I actually like Gears storyline. Its nothing special, but I've always enjoyed it.

I always felt that the gears story was pretty stupid, funny at times, but pretty dumb overall

now dont get me wrong I love playing Gears of War, but the 2 minute commercials were more engaging and told a better story than the actual storyline the games presented...

Whenever the PlayStation Network goes down for just a little while these days, gamers get scared. After all, The PSN went down for nearly a month not too long ago, so such a reaction is to be expected.

That's why we wanted to warn you right now that the PlayStation Network will be undergoing maintenance on Thursday, August 11th, from about 8am to 7pm PT.

According to the PlayStation Blog, "during this time, registration and Account Management will be inaccessible, including the password reset process." However, the post goes on to explain that "while some users may experience difficulty signing into PSN and the PlayStation Store, the majority of users will be able to play online as well as sign in to external sites that require PSN authentication."

So no, you won't necessarily have trouble getting onto the PlayStation Network on August 11th. But if for some reason you do, now you know why.

Make sure you download the free Agents of Change DLC if you haven't already. It's only free for a few more days I think.

I like it too. The characters are very likable as well. Sometimes I am not a fan of the "last bastion of humanity remaining" storyline, but this works. Judging from the teasers we've seen so far for GOW3, the story looks like it could be pretty good for the next game.

That game is pretty fuckin fun, I can't imagine how intense it's going to get at the later stages of the game.

BTW sorry about the 3rd level dying....I was failing to keep my eyes open...I had 2 long days Tuesday and Wednesday. I few times I found myself shooting at air.

It's really dumb but by default voice chat is disabled in that game. You have to go into the options and turn it on. It has nothing to do with the PS3 update.

The later levels don't get THAT bad until the final area. My roommate and I were playing and he died, so I had to beat the final area of the game by myself.

Took almost an hour and my right index finger was so sore from jamming on R1 so much.
