whats the deal with Mass Effect one hacking. I went to hack a door and in like 3 secs it said failed.......wtf was I supposed to do?

Oh I'm not saying I don't like it. I actually enjoy the tougher hacking. ME2's hacking was too easy.

Find the matching clumps of words. You get three mess-ups before you get booted.



and match the symbols on the circuit board...





They are both timed, but it's not very tough to get through it with plenty of time remaining (unless you hit a red box in the word clumping, then they take away one you've already gotten correct). They definitely have a better look, but are easy as hell.

I hate the clumps of words hacking. Shit takes too damn long sometimes.

I thought that the hacking in both was pretty stupid/time wasting. They become pretty pointless after a while.

Oh man, where did you get boned? I remember getting ALL the way to the end of that crazy (fucking awful) Mako level on Novaria (I think that was its name) and dying on like the last turret and poof! Right back to the beginning.

Jealous bluntside. I've never had the patience to 100% those games. I've always wanted to. The hidden packages always frustrate the crap out of me.

I never minded the packages too much; I'm not above using a guide to get them all. The missions that get me are the Ambulance missions up to level 12 as I have a very hard time keeping the ambulance in one piece that long. I'm not really a fan of the rampages either (thank goodness they took them out after Vice City).

I was at Feros looking for the Thorian and when I died it wiped out about 30 minutes of gameplay. A lot of it was talking to people and finding out a lot of information, so going back through that was boring as hell.
