I think I am done with Alan Wake for a little bit. I only have to beat the game on nightmare difficulty and collect the nightmare manuscripts and I will have 100%ed that bitch. That makes it about 3 games in a row that I have 100%ed. Proud of myself considering I never really get 100% before.

Easier said than donw. Nightmare difficulty is a fucking joke. If you think it's a pain in the ass now, with enemies popping up behind you constantly and getting tsuck in hit animations, think again.

I just completed episode 1 in about 30 mins and barely even shot my gun. I just use the flashlight to stun them and just keep running.

It will get worse. I think I started a Nightmare playthrough because I was in the same situation you're in. I think I have all the cheevos except for Nightmare and the Nightmare manuscript pages. I got Episode 2 and said fuck it, not worth the headache.

I might try again but I just remember there were so many parts in that game that were tough enough on Normal and Hard, I can't imagine Nightmare.

I beat Kameo. I'll say again, for a 7 year old game it was surprisingly pretty good. There were some wonky controls that definitely showed their age, but overall I'd say that I enjoyed it (especially for 5 bucks). Rare had some really creative shit back in the day before MS bled them dry.
