Just finished the Banner Saga. Amazing game.

Combine Oregon Trail, chess, an RPG, vikings, Game of Thrones, and the animation from Sleeping Beauty... can't wait until the sequel drops.

The bolded part of your post is pretty dead on balls accurate though. Although didn't you solely buy Catherine so that you could get the heart print pillow case with pre-order?

If so:

I managed to get the soundtrack/art book attached to the case.

Came with the game if you pre-ordered the regular addition as a "thank you" from the developers.

I didn't get the Collector's Edition that came in a fake Pizza Box and featured the above AND a pair of heart boxers like in the game to my recollection.

No heart prints for me

Also, didn't we BOTH by the Aliens CE for cheap? Gotta love that double standard.

Dark Souls II beat me and took my lunch money so many times last night.

I only have myself to blame after starting a Soul Level 1 run off the bat but damnit, I wanted the experience.

That experience led to every encounter turning into a boss battle and me being encumbered by everything I picked up.

Can't wait to put more time into it later on.

So, some know I bought the PS4 wireless gold headset last week. So far I'm really impressed, especially considering I only spent $85. One perk I wasn't aware of was that you can actually control your PS4 using voice commands with the headset. It has worked flawlessly. Pretty funny considering the highly touted Kinect's voice commands seem to be spotty at best.

Started to play Fez tonight on stream.

Up to 5 people watched as I played platform puzzles and collected gold cubes in a tiny fez hat in-game.

No idea the exact point at which the game caused Phil Fish to go crazy but I can see the mad genius that got him to that point in the game itself.

Shit's AMAZING and I can't wait to get back at it tomorrow.

I don't know if you've been spoiled for it already or not, but I'll just say: the game is more than just collecting cubes. Well, it's still collecting cubes, but when you discover what it was that probably made Fish snap, cubes become kind of trivial.

It's not the best game ever made, but the music is amazing, the pixel art is gorgeous, and if you really push for the full experience (and get there by yourself), it's one of the most rewarding experiences ever.
