Modern Warfare 2: Hardcore vs Regular

Recently there has been alot of bitching and moaning on the ps3 side of things about Hardcore being gay and it sucks and yadayadya. Things like the one shot one kill is bad because it doesnt give you a chance, and it is full of campers.

I played regular core team deathmatch the other day and saw just as many or more campers than i ever do in Hardcore. Also the definition of camping is so fucked and screwed.

If im sniping you are damn right im going to find a place where i blend in, thats why im wearing a god damn ghillie suit. And that sniper you are bitching about "camping" is probably the one saving your ass from getting shot in the back.

I love how people bitch about one shot one kill, butyou are perfectly fine with having to unload a clip into someone to kill them? If someone shoots you with a M16 in the chest you are not going to keep running full speed at them, yet you guys enjoy it?

i prefer Regular, dont have problems wasting ammo, i use Scavenger on most of my guns anyway

i really have no problem with Hardcore, just wish it was easier to survive noob tubers and snipers, at times the no death cam is bad because you cant see where the person is to get them back, but if your on the other side, obviously you dont want them to know where you are.

I dont really have an issue with the damage in regular, but if i shoot you in the head with a sniper rifle...you should die...not shoot me back. Fuckers

Every HC match I attempt to play is FULL of campers. No kill cam just makes it even worse.

I'm usually out of ammo by the time I get to my fifth kill. It's a pain in the ass how much it takes to drop someone.

I semi-camp sometimes too, it all depends on what the opposite team is doing. If they're just running around without being cautious, I'm setting up a tent and plucking them off.

i played 1 hardcore team death match.

the final score was 4700-3200

the leading score was 13-1

I hated every minute of it. I used to only play hardcore in Cod4 but regular is so much better.

Yeah, that happens all the time in regular its not a rare occurrence like in hardcore.

I find only on certain maps the score limit is never reached..Derail is one in particular, because 90% of the people are sniping...Wasteland is the other.

Exception not the rule. HC is for campers, period. You know it like I do. i played with you several times on that shit and people just claymore their selves in an obscure corner with a silencer with the sneaky ass perks and chill.

i was in a weak regular game with like a minute left, no team had over 3500 points, didnt help all the top people bolted, i found out that it drops the score

CoD4 I preferred hardcore. MW2 I prefer normal. I just find the range of perks used in normal to be far more wide in variety. Not to mention people are way too fond of using grenade launchers and just shooting them everywhere.

The only thing I hate about regular is the damn melee attack. How is it you can stab me and drop me in one hit, but I can shoot you 4 times and you live.

If the melee attack took 2 shots (like with the shields) then regular would be perfect.
