Can you charge the dualshock 3 on the PC?

    Double check with your cable provider to make sure they have that feature active in the firmware they use on their system. I know that Time Warner did for the Scientific Atlanta box they used here locally but other providers around the country that used the same box did not have it enabled.

    Yes, if the external drive feature is offered by your cable provider. I'm not 100% on whether or not it would work on your friends cable box or not, the content might be locked to the serial number of the box it was originally recorded on...probably varies by provider.

      oh then it probably wouldn't work, comcast=assholes. Im still going to use it as an excuse to buy a hard drive though... oh and to be on topic with the thread you can actually use you ps3 controller with your pc with a driver update, its better than buying the attachment to make your wireless xbox controller to work, only problem is when I have the driver installed none of mp3 players are recongized, only work around ive found so far is uninstalling the drivers when I dont need them...
