RBI was great but I actually liked RBI 2 better. My buddies and I used to have a league in that game. We would keep our own stats and shit. LOL.

I did the same thing with Madden 92-94.

Madden 94 still might be my favroite Madden of all time. Jim Harbaugh to Tom Waddle FTW. Plus I had a backfield of Craig Hayward and Neal Anderson.

And honestly I loved the Madden 64 for N64 that only had the players and no NFL license.

Alright, I'm relying on my VSN brethren here. There was this game that I used to play ALL the damn time on Sega and it wasn't Mutant League Football....but it was that kind of monster football game. I remember that it was like a field, but with all sorts of crap on it that you could fall through wholes. Trip over rocks (which is when you'd fumble it), etc. It wasn't actually play based, it was more like smear the queer with a team towards an endzone. In fact, I think you could even kill players.

I've been wondering what the fuck this game was called forever now and this thread just brought it back up so I wanna see if anyone has any clue what I'm talking about.

Nevermind.. pretty sure what I'm thinking of is Mutant League Football.

We had this same discussion over at MM, but was it just me or did the old Genesis/SNES EA sports games have decent endings? Back then I remember when you won the Stanley Cup in NHL they would show the commish on a stage at center ice, with a red carpet and confetti. And the players would take turns skating around with the puck. They even had features like crowd noise decibal meters and shit. Hell, even FIFA had a really cool trophy presentation. Old school Madden had a cool ending as well. What the fuck happened?

I looked through gamerankings.com and could only find Powerball and Cyberball that might be it. If the ball exploded, it was Cyberball.

Speedball? ... and I'm beginning to notice a trend. Any time the game is just a random bashing game with a ball, they just through some exciting word in front of ball. There are quite a few.

Jerry Glanville's Pigskin Football! YES! That's it! I just google imaged that search and I saw the main menu screen and shit came flooding back to me. Unfortunately with how hard it was finding the game, I doubt anyone has a rom of the game.

EDIT: Nevermind, first try and I found the rom to the game. Bout to play it now, schweet.
