PC Gaming vs. Console Gaming

I play games on PC and Console and while most the Console things are true. There are social PC Games and when was the last time you actually had someone playing with you who was in the same room as you?

Most of us play with peeps online only and if you count that as "socially" then surely you must do the same for PC.

Actually Saturday night I played 4 player Mario on the Wii, and there were 8 of us in the same room all watching. Game is lulz

i ususally play games online with friends. Ocassionally i have people over and consoles are turned on with them....but i think most are playing online with friends

No, it's not social when you play online. That's called playing online.

Social is when you have a bunch of friends over, and you can play it with them. Because you're being social by playing the game with people in person.

The big reason to play on PC are RTS games, MMO games, and FPS games if you are into mods. If you aren't into those types of games, there is no reason to get a strong gaming PC.

On that same point, I really think console will never be able to match the PC in MMOs and RTS games.
