Modern Warfare 2 Patch 1.08

Modern Warfare 2 patch 1.08 has arrived! The patch weighs in at 15MB and can be downloaded now for Playstation 3. Patch for Xbox 360 is currently in certification at Microsoft.

The patch includes the following fixes.

- Care Package, Emergency Airdrop, and Sentry Gun marker grenades sprint speed normalized.
- Fix for "infinite care package" exploit.
- Sentry Guns: Improved placement detection, preventing cases of Sentry Guns inside geometry.
- Model 1887: Bling using Akimbo and FMJ combination now has same range and damage as non-Bling Model 1887s.
- Improved player collision removing cases of getting into geometry and 'elevators'.
- Fixes to prevent various XP hacks.

PS3 Players:
The patch is live!

Worldwide Xbox 360 Players:
This patch is currently in certification at Microsoft. No ETA on it's arrival yet.

you know whats really really, super gay... the fact that I have to dl a million fucking updates a month, and the fact that my ISP limits my bandwidth (cause Im fucking stupid) to 5 gigs a month... So I have to limit my downloading of stuff so that I can update and play my damn games online and then I have to pay for said online... anyways, glad they fixed some shit...

u should becareful playing mw2 if u have bandwidth limit. since mw2 doesnt use dedicated servers basically it picks a person to act as a server. it you happen to be the host and everyone is using your isp to play then you will eat up with bandwidth.

I never quite understood the joy of finding glitches in a game? I always like playing them straight up. The whole nuke boosting and care package stuff just seems lame.
