Bought NHL 09

I bought this game used for 15 dollars so me and a friend could play it. We have no idea what we are doing and do not know anything about hockey. I will take it back in 7 days and get my money back we just basically wanted to figure out hockey.

Anyone wanna help out explaining lol.

You would be surprised how much we get asked this question and basically, we can't answer it unless you wanted to sit down and have a week long talk about the game. So rather we normally just say, watch the game, read up on the rules of the game if you are not sure. Hell, when watching a game if something happens that you do not understand why, google it, or ask on here.

Is there anything specific you have to ask or want to know?

Still getting a lot of penalties that I have not a clue what they mean. Goooooogle awaits.

Well I have been doing Be a Pro with a Forward I think. Trying to figure shit out. Wikipedia sucks ass for Hockey info.

Basically you need to learn to play your position. That will give you lots of success. Wingers are fairly easy to figure out as you stay on the blue line when the puck is in your zone and guard the defence and then on the attack you get open, be in front of the net. If you are playing Be a Pro, generally following the blue arrow will help you out in staying in position.
