Probably the most interesting thing to come from this is confirmation that the first Modern Warfare 2 map pack is planned for Spring 2010! The prizes included in the giveaway are

CoD4 maps are beast, I think if they added all of the CoD4 maps I would play this all day. I hate this game but maybe the old maps would make me love it like I loved CoD5!

Really wish some others, such as Showdown, Ambush and Chinatown, would make it into this.

Hate the fact that two of the smaller maps from COD1 made it in, but MW2 is lacking in that.

Good idea on Showdown, I was thinking about that one as well. Crossfire was without a doubt the best map on there and it is odd that they wouldn't add it. I mean when you think about playing CoD4 you think of Crossfire. They may not have added Crossfire because they couldn't find a way to fix the glitches but I am happy with some of these. I can't wait!

Still doubt it. I know that you can edit the pictures and names of maps if you have a Jtag Xbox. I'd love if it were true though, but with all the modding and hacking to this game and knowing that even I can change this stuff, it's sort of unlikely.

my feeling on those cod 4 maps is that if i want to play those i can just pop in COD4. at least give them a unique feel if your including it in mw2

It's not "official" nor "confirmed."

But it does look planned. I dont think all those maps are all coming out at once. I imagine they will spread em out across 2 map pack releases(1 flashback, and then the rest).
