Anybody picking this one up?

The first time I saw it, actually the first couple times, I thought this game was the dumbest excuse for a creation I've ever seen. But after a while it started to remind me of the original Super Mario Bros., except you can basically make your own crazy levels, and I got a whole new outlook on this game.

I personally just don't understand the universal acclaim for this, I get that the whole "endless possibilitie" is pretty cool, but its a 2D platformer. Doesn't it get kind of old?

Plus it has it's own Story Mode like SMB, and a co-op online mode.

IGM doesn't just hand out a 9.5 for innovation.. this game has credentials.

Alright, I'm bumping this thread up.

If you have a PS3, GET THIS GAME. I have not had this much fun in a long time. Some guy made a kickass Batman level online, there's a Sonic "Green Hill Zone" level, there's a "Saw" level (I want to play a game!!), there's just SO much creation going on.

Buy the game guys. You owe it to yourselves. This is up there with MGS4 as far as a platform seller. At least try it out.. you won't be let down I promise you.

If yall get yall games from best buy and pay 5 dollars for that year warranty, then yall could play games and then take them back if they get scratched and get a $59.99 gift card and just get you another game...

I just got Mirror's Edge yesterday and beat it today. It's sweet and all I'm just good with puzzles. I'm gonna trade it in for that new need for speed.
