....ok, silly article from IGN and a slow day in the arcade. only a select few on vsn can really compare the 2 games. The guy who wrote the article is a self described ps3 fanboy.

i have not played all of ME2 yet so i cant comment. But despite its issues, i felt like ME1 was better than UC2

So i was curious, if u played ME2 and UC2, what game u felt was better?

since these games are 2 different games, maybe a better question would be if u could only choose 1, which would it be?

ME2 is a game, I play it, it's my story, my actions, my decisions and my feelings. It's replayable and expandable.

UC2 is me following sequence of commands with a hollywood storyline and cutscenes.

btw played both and me2 is ahead by a mile

uncharted is great however its done in a short amount of time

mass effect however keeps giving and the amount of things you could do are endless hell you could go back to the first one and do things differently then go back in me2 and do things differently thats how massive the game is

This. I haven't played UC2, but ME2 has little re playability. At least for me. I beat it once, and I'm trying to go through again, and I'm just bored with it. I'm going to have to give it time before playing through again.

ME2 by far for me. I even enjoyed the action in it more than UC2, which is saying a lot for a supposed "RPG". I'm on my third playthrough, this time on Insanity, and no matter how difficult it is I still love it. Something about the combat just keeps it fresh.

Also, there are so many possibilities with the story, from the gender, to the style of play. It's really just incredible.

The only negative (outside of the scanning) I'd say is the fact that it's going to be VERY hard to go back to ME1 now and try to get all of the achievements.

Even despite the multiplayer I would say Mass Effect 2 has a longer lasting appeal for me because of the variance possible from one playthrough to another. As far as the first time I played through both of them I would give the slight advantage to Mass Effect, but like everyone's said its hard to compare them.

Mass Effect 2 > Uncharted 2 > Mass Effect 1 > Uncharted 1

They are two very different games. One is very streamlined, but acheives its story to a very high degree and succeeds in making the same actions feel fun and riviting.

The other is based around open gameplay and seeing how decisions impact the greater scope of the game. It is based around a key idea of developing a character in an ever changing story.

Both are very different, but if I had to pick one, I would take the game that takes 20+ hours to beat over the one that only took about 15.
