What does it matter how good the Madden '11 engine is if EA messes up the player ratings? For the first time ever, players that started for their team the entire season are being removed from the game in the postseason. What's next, removing people from the roster during the season based on rumors that they might retire in the offseason?

Wow...that was the most horrible waste of time in my life. Ever. They said absolutely nothing of value.

Oh, STFU already. He OFFICIALLY fucking retired. GET OVER IT! Do you understand retirement? It means that player wont play anymore. Not everyone is as indecisive as Brett Favre.

Anyway, this blog was pretty much as expected...nothing but them "re-phrasing" what was said pre-Madden 10. I could give a fuck who they thought would win the super bowl, or what they liked most about Madden 10.

          Ian needs a haircut.

He retired AFTER the END of the regular season for which he started EVERY game at QB for the Cardinals. This is Madden '10, not Madden '11. Of course Warner should not be in next years version of the game but he should remain in this years version of the game.

Jerome Bettis retired following the Superbowl a couple of years ago and wasn't removed from the Madden roster. Lots of people retire following the season and have been left in the game until the following year. Why the fuck change it now?

What's Favre got to do with it anyway? Let the hate go dude.

Then don't download the update. Simple as that.

And, your infatuation with Favre is widely known here, so I knew it would bother you. And it did.

It didn't bother me, it just smacked of desperation to bring his name into your argument about Warner. It had no relevance.

Kind of a wasted blog. "More realism" was basically what they said between their fav Madden 10 things and super bowl predictions.
All you need to know when thinking of the NHL vs Madden series is the two people involved in making the games.

                  "rammer" and "cummings"

The NHL series is a giver, Madden takes the load.

That was my first thought when watching. "Wow these guys are all so boring". They have no charism what so ever. Not like the NHL10 guys had in their blogs.

I never saw those but to me this just looks like a half assed attempt to get something out to the madden masses. Nothing more, nothing less.

The game Madden has about as much emotion as seen in that video. It all makes perfect sense now.

Unsure of how this constitutes as "First Madden 11 News"

All they did was talk about how much they wanted to make Madden 11 "the most sim game to date". Which is coincidentally what they talked about last year too.

Oh, and they talked about which team they wanted to win the Super Bowl. Awesome blog Ian.
