FIFA 11 to tackle online quitters by rewarding players that finish games

Humber says that EA is thinking about adding functionality to FIFA 11 that would reward players for finishing matches, rather than try to punish those that quit. As for the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2010 South Africa, don't expect any changes: "We haven't done anything different for this game as far as I know," Humber said.

That has really killed my enjoyment in FIFA this year. It's rare I get to have a good game online, and even less rare someone wants to play as someone other than Inter/Barca/Chelsea/Real

I think the last bit you wrote is what I'd like changed more than anything else. I'd love to play with Czech clubs, or Austrian clubs, or hell even clubs like Dortmund. But I can't because everyone picks Barca, Madrid, or Chelski.

I play ranked matches online and I usually rape whoever I play, only for them to quit.

Then of course I play you, and you rape me. The least you could do is offer a reach around.

I find you'll reach a level where the matches get competitive again, but then it's annoying. From levels 1-19ish, it was a cakewalk for me. Now I hover around level 25-27, and I find these guys are almost worse. They have to play as Barca to protect their 'record' and if I get up on them, they quit because I must be cheating. I beat one guy 4-1 with Birmingham against his Chelsea (3 goals for Jerome!), and was suprised when he didn't bitch out
