Agree to disagree because I think APF destroyed Madden in almost every facet imaginable. It's a shame it sold so poorly just because of the lack of the NFL license.

If All-Pro had a franchise mode it would have done a lot better. A sports game without a franchise/dynasty mode is only half a game.

I think that and the NFL license were the only thing Madden had over APF. Gameplay, animations, details (sidelines, etc.), graphics were all better in APF.

Ill tell ya if you were just able to create your own rosters and teams.....AP Football would have been a mega hit!.

for me they alright, but my desire for this title is all about how it plays.

i'm amped to see what it's going to be like to play a game that doesn't have preset animations.

yeah I love the use of the new physics engine......this needs to be implemented in an NFL game ASAP.

I dont have hopes for this game at all though........it will not be sim at all. Might be fun but sim it will not be.

Well i don't expect it to be a full out sim either....and that's fine.

I want something fun to play, which this could very well be.


From what they've said so far, it sounds like it'll be tradtional football (no powerups or whatever, with legit NFL type rules and such) just with big hits and probably not as deep as Madden gets.

Only a couple more weeks until they officially unveil the game and we'll have a better idea.

it's because they haven't gone public with the game yet at all. this will be more on the technology, but new game clips will be seen.

the game will be unveiled later this month and at E3.

then we'll know what it's all about, but god damn those hits were spectacular.
