A lot of the gamers who only play Call of Duty games may go for this, but I definitely see the Xbox 360 market completely dropping out on the games if ActiBlizzard actually does this. It's bad enough we're suckered into paying $60 a year for access to Xbox Live, now add $15 a month.....I'll get the game for the single player and just ignore the multiplayer.....that's if the single player's worth the price of course. Although even that shows some sign of support, so I may not even do that....after all, both the PS3 and the Xbox 360 have solid FPS titles that aren't Call of Duty.Comment

Normally, I would say this is stupid and wouldn't work. But a $5/month fee wouldn't be too much and would allow them to do numerous upgrades and updates without going through the marketplace.
Instead of map packs, they just give you the maps whenever they have them ready. Plus, they could add a lot more content, such as new guns, skins, and etc.
While I am not a fan of it, the WoW business model isn't a bad one.Comment
