another GREAT GREAT game...pitching dominated as Ollie seams to be my ace in the hole. He allowed 1 run on a hanging slider the Aaron Rowand deposited just short of a opposite field splash down landing shot. Tim Linecum was untouchable but he was pulled in the 5th or maybe 6th for a pinch hitter.(THANK YOU!) The Mets then played small ball with Luis Castillo on first and hit and run with David Wright worked as Wright hit a shot to the gap scoring Castillo from first. Wright would be gunned down tho at second on the play. Carlos Beltran would put the Mets ahead with a TOWERING Blast of RP G. Mota that hit off a pillar or would have landed in McCovey Cove. K-Rod and the rest of the Mets pen was stellar slamming the door.
