Isn't Aldershot a Blue Square team to start? Their club rep will still be pretty low, even if he does get the job. 350 days would be one season, probably into June. Not a huge surprise, but not a bad job to start

I'm bringing in some experience to get this team on track.

Edit- All 5 of the clubs keepers are injured for atleast a month, and I can't sign one for another 2 weeks. I'm stuck with greyed out keepers for my next 3 matches. Let's see how this goes.

This post will probably not exist later, but meh.

I got the 10.3 patch and decided to start over with Manchester City now that I have a general idea of what I'm doing. I found me a formation that I'm pretty happy with (would be even better if Robinho wasn't out on loan for the year at Santos, as he would fit the the treqaurtista role to a "T" in the formation I'm using.

About 2 weeks prior to my first mach I was left without a striker as Adebayor got a random severe viral infection and is going to miss 8 to 9 months to be treated by a specialist (lol, viral infection, he's probably got AIDS). Santa Cruz starts the season injured for a couple months as well, and Jo starts out on loan, so that left me with nothing.

I scrambled to find anything, and I actually managed to get two pretty strong ones, David Trezeguet on loan from Juventus (I found it kind of weird that Juve would be loaning out a 29-year-old striker with 19 finishing/19 composure, but I'm not complaining. The strike role in this formation is a poacher, and the key ratings are finishing, pace, and composure, so Trezeguet is a steal for a loan, IMO. I also brought in Filippo Inzaghi for a relatively cheap transfer fee, so those two guys are certain to be key players for this year anyway until Adebayor recovers.

My other acquisition in the search for a trequartista, was Guti, who also came relatively cheap. I wasn't looking into an expensive or long-term solution at the spot as I feel Robinho will be the ideal candidate there.

Oh my God, 8-9 months for a viral infection? I've never heard of that in FM. Probably did it because he's African, but if it's AIDS I'll have to talk to him, I know what it takes to get through such a tough time.

How are you liking Bayern? I love playing with them. I want to start a game with Dortmund, Bremen, HSV, or Schalke, but I'd only want to do it if I could sign Muller. I know I can use the editor, but when I do things like that, I find that I don't play those games very long before I feel like I cheated.

I didn't even know you could edit players to different teams.

I like playing with Bayern so far, Muller gets solid playing time because Robben is always tired because his stamina rating is 10. I'm running a 4-2-4 basically with 2 central mids, 2 attacking wingers, and 2 strikers. I thought about using the formation I use with Liverpool but I decided to develop a new one instead. I'm still tweaking it.

I signed Nicolas Otamendi as well who looks like a great future player and will likely sell Ribery after my first season seeing as Man City wants him badly. I just really wish I could recall Toni Kroos from his loan.

Otamendi turns into a superstar.

I'd sell Ribery, then go out and buy Hazard for half the price and pocket the rest. Kroos being out on loan hurts, but he'll feature for you when he gets back. Take a look at Bender from Leverkusen, dude is a stud.

I'm also looking at trying to bring in someone like Dzeko. Klose will be fine for this year but he's getting up there.

Oh I meant to ask, how has Adam Pepper developed in your Liverpool game?

He doesn't have a fixed PA so he can be good or bad depending on the save. In my Preston North End game he's turned into a Gerrard clone and captains England.

In real life, he's expected to be huge at Liverpool. Time will tell. I mean they said the same thing about Spearing and he's been less than impressive.

He's no longer on my team and is on Sheffield. He really isn't anything special.

I'm Barcelona and I don't get why for every single Cup I draw Real Madrid in either the Quarters or Semis. Every time without fail I draw them. With in four years I end up playing them about 25 times.

I'm playing AEK in my Champions league group stage and its the first game of the stage and I'm in Anfield. Fernando Torres has a hat trick...it took him 8 minutes and 45 seconds to get it.
