Fuck, all my goalies got injured before a Quarterfinal matchup against Man U in the Champion's League. Had to start Anthony Annan at keeper, only lost 4-1. In the second leg, we go up 4-0 to take a 1 goal aggregate lead, only for Man U to score 2, the last on a PK in the 93rd minute.

Players under the age of 21 don't have to be registered. I also believe that you're allowed an emergency keeper.

I love that U21 rule and I exploit it thoroughly.

I tend to manage like Wenger so my sides are full of unregistered players.

Mine too. And once they reach 21 if I think they don't have a future on my team, they get sold immediately and I buy new young guys.

I don't know if it's because I'm running 10.0.0, but I tried all of my Keepers, since Leverkusen has a U21/U19 setup, and none of the players were eligible. Oh well.

Also didn't help that USA scheduled WC2014 Qualifying during the Quarters of the Champion's League. No Altidore, Adu, or backup GK Robles hurt.

I am so confused about this Designated Player rule. I seem to only be able to offer it to certain players but I haven't figured out what players. Also when I can offer it to a player I seem to be restricted on how much salary I can offer but it varies from player to player, which I also don't understand.

Downloaded a mod from FM-Base called the £80 million challenge. It replaces Burnley with an FM-Base team based out of Middlesbrough with a 40,000 capacity stadium, state of the art facilities and a £80m transfer budget, and £900k wage budget to build a team from scratch with.

Will post what I wind up with later.
