Lost Planet 2 Content Cut Due To DVD Disc Space

February 18, 2010 - According to a report from Japanese website LiveDoor.jp, and translated by IGN, game content in Capcom's upcoming alien shooter Lost Planet 2 was cut due to the limited DVD storage space for Xbox 360.

Xbox 360 games are Dual Layered, which means their max is usually about 7.3 GB.

Blu-Ray, you're right though. 25-50 gigs.

Lost Planet does suck.

But I'm pretty sure games like MGS4 and Uncharted 2 couldn't be done on a DVD so I love me some bluray.

They COULD be done, it would just take multiple discs I'd bet. IMO Mass Effect 2 looks just as good as UC2, albeit on 2 discs.

On Shadow Moses where you had to switch discs in the first one Otacon calls you up and is like o looks like its time to switch discs. Just kidding with blu-ray yadda yadda yadda.
