MLB 09 The Show Demo Impressions Thread

I was playing the demo this morning before work and I noticed the framerate problem others are experiencing. I played on Legend difficulty and was early on a lot of the pitches. Pitch Speed will definitely have to be increased for me.

you turn your ps3 on and it shuts itself off and a yellow light comes on. you dont want it trust me

I've been playing the demo more and have been getting a lot better with hitting. One game I won with a walkoff homerun by Ryan Howard. Another game I hit a solo shot with Evan Longoria. Been getting on base a lot and been drawing some walks, makes the game more enjoyable.

I am very interested in seeing how the final build will play. It seems most of my runs come off the long ball and I only have a couple doubles in the 30 or so games I have played

lol, played the demo lastnight for the first time. I fucking raped with Hamels but could barely get a hit and struck out a lot.

I didn't play 07 or 08 and I can't dl the demo due to no Internet currently so I went out and bought 08 to see what all the hype is about. And this game is fucking amazing! I had it forthe psp but wow what a game this is; and 09 will be. I preordered already, but I had to buy 08 kind of like a pre playoff signing that will be released in a few weeks LOL.

Pete! Good to see you found the place. Its hard to play the Show and not like it. I don't know anyone that likes baseball that has. Be sure to try to get some games in with me when 09 drops. I'll be on it and Killzone 2 for the foreseeable future.
