Anyone play the Show at Best Buy?

Yes I did. It was on a 50 Inch Sony bravia and it looked awesome. I played a full game Yanks vs Rays.

One of the best things was when posada took off his mask to go after a pop up and his mask hit the batter. Crazy realistic. The trailers we have seen do not compare to what you will see when you play the game.

I am going back tomorrow during lunch.

In anycase, YES at the catchers finally throwing off their masks! Now they only need to include outfielder collisions and both the suggestions I had would have made it in! God I can't wait for next week!

Made it by the local Best Buy this evening to check out the game. Thought it was incredible and I can't wait to check out the demo tomorrow night!!

I took the A's out for a little spin against the Yankees. Pardon the poor video quality and the bad camera work. I was trying to play and record at the same time...lol

I got pretty lucky, it was at the one closest to my house. If the demo wasn't coming out tomorrow I would probably take a friend over there to play a full game just to get an even better feel for the game. The graphics and control response really had me impressed.

So I gave this a try at Best Buy this morning. Played a Rays vs Pirates game at PNC Park, all-star difficulty. The graphics have definitely improved, they do look more photorealistic. Not so much at the pitcher vs batter screen, but when the ball is in play and the camera pans around the stadium, it certainly looks better, especially the lighting.

As for gameplay, I honestly didn't feel much difference from last year. I only played 4 innings, so I'm sure missed some subtle improvements that are noticeable after playing the game for several days. However, the one thing that struck me was that the baserunners seem much faster this year. Ryan Doumit did a straight steal of 2nd and easily beat my throw. Carlos Pena beat out a grounder for an infield hit. And Wade Davis beat out a sacrifice bunt! I'm a little concerned over this. These players are supposed to be slow as shit.

Anyways, only 3 more days for the real deal...
