Can't wait for this. I still play the original usually about twice a week. So much customization within the game it is crazy and hardly ever gets old.

I'll play it. I played a ton of Starcraft 1, but I am not an online player, or a very good RTS player. Still, like the universe and the gameplay is nicely balanced

I can understand the "when it is done, it is done" way of thinking, but don't put a trailer out for a game in 2007 and then still not have it out three years later. I can tell they want to make it an epic game, but when they now are doing the "bliazzard" move and making the game three games (the milk money move) it just gets you pissed off with the company. It is bad enough I have had to put up with three years of hype for a game that still doesn't have a firm release date, but now I have to buy the game three times?

From what I read, there will be 3 "games" and each one will contain the story mode for one race. On the other hand, the whole multiplayer experience will be available with any of the 3 games. Also, each race should have almost 20 stages in their campaign.

Blizzard was bought out by Activision.....


Thats pretty much the only reason why there is going to be 3 games. Activision is the king of putting out just enough of a game to make you want to buy the others after a 5 to 6 months period.

I am well aware of the races thing and that is what pisses me off. I want to play protoss, not fucking stupid terran. Fuck those bitches and stupid Jim Raynor. But no, I have to pay for the first disc, then wait till they put out the protoss game and pay for that.

And if this waiting is any sign of things to come, I'll finish the game in 2040.

So it's not like they're skimping in that regard.

But it still is forcing everyone to buy more then one game. After it is said and done, I'll be paying probably close to $200-250 for this entire series, providing the game is the normal cost of $69.99 CDN. I get all the online stuff with the first game, so I really hope they are not putting the same price tag on the 2nd/3rd games as the first. But you also know, they will put some thing in the game that makes you complete the first game first before moving on. Because as I said, I want the protoss game, not Terran.

I would be fine paying say the normal $69.99 for the first game and like half of that for the second and third considering it is just compaign shit. I wish more game developers would do that. Valve was doing thing with the half life games with episodes, and you pay like $19.99 for like 6-8hrs of game.
