Madden 11 for 20 bucks

I feel like a dumbass. I was at Gamestop on the 3rd and completely forgot about this. I got the show to tie me over and now I gotta pay full price.

I traded my copy in today. I finally blew through a season the past four days. You can't beat Madden 11 for $20.

I find it so funny that it seems that all Gamestop employees are oblivious to these coupons. You would think this would be something that corporate would at least make the managers aware of on a weekly basis. When I use to stop in more frequently I would discuss the coupons with the staff and they had no idea wtf I was talking about.

And with this deal I told my cousin about it who is a huge Madden guy. He has the 360 and PS3 versions. He said he couldn't dind the coupon online so he called his local store and they were clueless. I gave him the code and he went to the store. They punched it in and it popped right up. Fucking worthless.

Same here. Luckily I printed mine off before VSN crashed. I called em up and asked to be sure, and they had no fucking clue what I was talking about. Just printed off the coupon and gave it to em.

It fucking amazes me how clueless they are. I mean, how are the employees not even signed up for the companies own e-mail list?

Don't even get me started on how many times I have reserved games that "guaranteed' Certain pre-order bonuses only to be told they the store had no idea what I was talking about or "didn't receive enough" of the bonuses.

On a few occasions I pulled up the info on my phone while in the store to prove it. After making excuses they finally told me "Oh, that was online only." But when I point out the "You bonus will be shipped to you with the game or will be available at time of pick up for in-store purchases" they just look at me dumbfounded.

If it weren't for the discount I would wipe my ass with that place.

I used my phone to show them the coupon...they scanned my phone and it worked....yeah they had no idea the coupon existed.

One guy said to me once...."wow people read those emails" (b/c I had a coupon for like 30% bonus on trade ins or some shit)

Again I plan on returning madden the next day for the full $65 credit and buying something else. I am offically done play madden till thing change radically.

Its just a retail job to them till they get done school or whatever and they are on their way out. They take the game from you and scan it in. When NHL10 had this same deal they had signs all over the place for it but the employee's at first didn't really know a lot about it.

On a odd side note our EB/Gamestops here have a lot of chicks working in them now. Which is kinda nice because they don't care what your buying. I used to have a problem when I'd go in and buy some wierd ass game and the stupid nerd at the counter asked me what I thought of it and why I was buying it. Used to piss me off.

Also I really hope this drops the price of madden used down. I want to pick up madden 10 for like $20 or something. I'm not buying it new ever again.

That's not how it is everywhere. They are definitely making more than minimum wage in my area. But that's besides the point. It's no big deal if the average employee doesn't know but how can a manager be so ill informed?
