What I am going to do with this is create the top 5-10 major prospects on each team and do all the lineups correctly, so that way I can start my franchise.

Once I've done that I will go and finish the rest of the prospects.

Almost finished with the Twins franchise!

1. Baseball Prospectus 2010 and Ron Shandler's Baseball Forecaster. Those in addition to try and check (simulate a season and see how stats come out).

2. In the Baseball Discussion forum, archer made a board just for us at the top. Post in there, or right in this thread.

If anyone can take the file that is on the online called VSNPrelim and continue putting the top 5 prospects from BaseballAmerica on there (just names, numbers, age, height, weight, color) then when I get home from work I can grab it back from you and do all the attributing.

Please post here if you do so though, so that we dont have 4 people working on separate files.

Unfortunately SCEA fucked me over with the potential rating on their original and second roster sets. This causes players ratings that are young and skilled like Wright Reyes Lincecum Grienke and others to drop numerous points after one season.

Because of this they are releasing new rosters, reportedly coming out next Monday.

Because of that I have lost 30+ hours of work, and because Im headed to Haiti in 7 days for a week, I will probably just hand it over to Knight and trust his team with it.

Sorry for the disappointment. Blame SCEA.

I would help out big time with putting in players names and ratings based off what people posted at other forums. I don't have any prospect guides to go off of because I am a poor man and can't afford it. I can also hit up a bunch of stances and equipment type stuff, but I don't think I could do ratings very well.

So in short while you are gone I could do the names and work on the other stuff until you get back to clean it up and do ratings and such if you wanted. Only problem for me is getting prospect stuff which I can get, but limited through free stuff on the internet.
