Idk who your playing but I haven't really encountered anything liek the onside kick situation your describing, I see guys go back and forth once to be cunts, but its not too bad.

As far as getting rewarded 2 wins/losses for quits... fuck that... I'd have close to twice as many wins... I rarely get to finish a ranked game because they usually quit when they realize that a 3 play playbook and going for it on 4th and 10+ isn't working. I like my wins to each actually mean I won, getting 2 wins for a quit would be obnoxious, and isn't reallistic. Add some of the guys from here you'll get some good games and we still have a decent amount of guys playing regularly.

I can accept the cheesey trick plays to some degree...I can even accept the onside kick on occasion to catch me napping. What I can't stand is these guys that onside kick every freakin time and then switch back and forth as I adjust...I'm sorry that's not football it's Bullsh*t.
I just dont' understand what the deal is. Why can't they just play football?

The other thing is quitting games. They have to change this so you get charged for 2 losses if you are quitting. And the other guy gets 2 wins. the one loss means nothing. There's really no penalty, even though they chart the DNF. Most people I see are around at least 20%. having to play it out vs the cpu to get the win is bull as well. You should just automatically get the two wins IMO.

I played a guy before thats that was all he did was onside kick the entire game and audible in an out of it. I wasnt sure how to shift my kickoff team and once I figured it out in the fourth quarter it was too late.

I also like the guys that are losing with under minute left in the game an ask for a friendly quit. LOL

Well, how about two losses for quitting. As it stands now, the reasoning I believe is "I'm going to lose anyway, might as well quit, I don't get penalized for it then because I'm getting a loss anyway."

Just don't play anyone with a high disconnection rate. More than likely your problem is solved

Even though some of the guys here at VSN stretch the boundaries of cheese on occasion, I don't know of anybody that plays like the OP described. That sounds bad even by East room standards.

This is madden. Expect this. People are naturally greedy. You know that people will do whatever they can to win. If you don't like this, join a league.

As for the quitting, just quit yourself, or finish it out, personally I just quit if my opponent ducks on me, it's not like the win matters, records mean nothing.

it is simply that they are -children- for the most part.
