Is this game worth buying a PS3?

i bought a ps3 so i could play the show. i love baseball games though. So for me it was worth it. But i love having a ps3 and a 360. You get the best of everything by owning both systems.

both systems have pros and cons. But having both eliminates the cons. And the ps3 has alot of pros...one of them being mlb the show

I bought my PS3 strictly to play The Show when the PS3 hit the streets. I have NEVER regretted that purchase.

Up until last year the ONLY game I owned for this system was The Show. I broke down and bought Hot Shots Golf on eBay. The Blu-Ray is very nice.

If you have it hooked up to an HD TV with a nice surround sound system you are set!

Well, I have the game, and I have a 480P 65'' TV, and it looks absolutely :turrible: on my TV. It is fuzzier then a cup of milk and cookies on a Sunday Night. FML

Do you have HDMI cables? When I got my PS3 last year I thought it looked bad but then I realized my PS3 didn't come with HDMI cables.

hdmi cabel will cost alot at those types of stores. your better off ordering one online.

your tv only supports 480p....or is that cause your using the cables that came with the ps3?

when you say it has a stand are you saying its one big huge unit....like a big giant box?

if it has an hdmi jack on it then it should support at least 480p, 1080i and 720p

when you setup the ps3 did you tell the ps3 all the resolutions your TV supports? the ps3 will optimize for all the numbers you entered.....like 480i, 480p, 720p 1080p, 1080p

mine doesnt support 1080p which is the best

you should post the model of the TV...or google it to find out what it supports
