Warning about new Roster Update (3/8)

Still some position glitches/errors with some of the rosters. I went through them, here they are:

Yankees: Jeter CF/Granderson SS
Twins: Hardy 2B/Hudson SS
Marlins: Maybin C/Bonifaco CF (no C in the lineup)
Nats: Guzman 2B/Kennedy SS


I didn't check the minor league rosters, but be aware before you start a season/franchise that on the last update, some teams had RP playing C and other wacky shit.

Just did as quick check of Scranton/WB Yankees, and RP Edwar Ramirez is still the starting C. Just an FYI.

thats lame that obvious shit like that didnt get fixed. at least for online leagues you can switch them around to the correct position

i wont touch franchise until knights rosters have the full minor leaguers

It's not like people didnt immediately notice last Monday.

I'm thinking it has to be some sort fo uploading glitch. I can't accept that they would have just blown off these fixes, considering they go through the trouble of moving minor leagers when they change teams.

I'm just glad it's not the Reds. It must be annoying changing the positions for guys before every game if your a Nats or Marlins fan. Fuck the Yankee fans, who cares.

you can still edit the roster yourself before starting a franchise. So at least it can be fixed

what i dont like is they didnt allow us to edit the player potential this year. Why not just add this to the edit screen. makes no sense

they switched the indians lineup to have sizemore batting 2nd and cabrara leading off. thats correct.....only problem is they have cabrara at CF and sizemore at SS

How many games did you play that way? I bet you made errors you never would have made the other way around.

I'm not even buying the game until they patch the franchise issues.

For people who only play franchise, yeah, this is a shitty game out of the box.

Hopefully they can patch it before May...or else the broken franchise pretty much kills any serious replayability.

Yeah, I saw someone had asked Russell on OS about editing player potential and he said they don't allow it because it would throw things out of whack....some kind of design issue

I don't remember 09 having as many problems in franchise as this one has......aside from the historical stat glitch

Also I did a test sim and saw some strange shit, Yankees placed both Jeter AND Rivera on waivers

A-Rod retired at age 35 still at A potential, yet Pudge returned at age 39 with A potential...and he's a catcher...you don't see, if any, 39 year old catchers

I don't think they put a premium on a good playing franchise this year, it was all about online playability IMO

and those franchise issues are pretty bad. i just dont understand how you can mess up things that just needed to be cut and pasted from last years game. and how does this shit not get fixed before its released.

then i remember...this is a corporation that makes this game.....corporations are infamous for making choices that make no sense at all
