Need another game to play, suggest something

i used to only be into sports games, then i played Rainbow six vegas and that changed all that.

I currently have Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Ratchet and Clank A Crack In Time(unopened came with my ps3) im trying to trade those for other games on craigslist and cheapassgamer. I might just end up playing R&C, but i dont know if the "platformer" thing will hold my interest all the way through.

I loved fallout 3, but couldnt get into oblivion. Things that are heavy into scifi or fantasy arent terribly appealing to me for some reason. Im trying to broaden my horizons gaming wise and offline campaigns are basically what im looking for since my online time is very limited with a 1 year old.
I thought Dragon Age Origins sounded amazing but im more into shooters as opposed to hand to hand combat, i can play a game with a mix of both but i cant get into pure button mashers like GOW.

These are some games i think id be interested in playing, some old, some new. Im pretty much looking for games with trophy support so no launch ps3 games please ;)

    Bioshock
    Battlefield Bad Company
    Batman Arkham Asylum
Assassins Creed 2 ( I heard one got very repetitive, so ill just try 2)
    uncharted 1( i beat 2 but never played 1)

those are some games id think id be interested in, whats best out of that list. Or just suggest something complete different to play.

ive already played through Fallout 3, uncharted 2, modern warfare 2, killzone 2, and Borderlands in the last year and a half or so.

Rent the following games: AC2, Batman, Bioshock and Uncharted. Buy Bad Company.

    Leafs offseason training!

      Bioshock
      Battlefield Bad Company
      Batman Arkham Asylum
      I reviewed those 3

But to mention some games not mentioned yet, Pure is a great racing game with trophies, bit idk how the online community is because I dont play online with it that much.

Mirrors Edge is a great rental for the ps3 or if you can find it for 10-15 bucks its worth it. ( Just beat it yesterday so a review is coming)

And I know you said trophy support but The Darkness is a great single player shooter. I wrote a review on that as well.

I'll admit i never played God Of War on ps2, i DLed the demos for that and Dante's Inferno and i must say im liking Dante's Inferno so far maybe its the storytelling thats great. GOW might have a nice story but in the demo they just threw you straight into action.

Also PSN wise, Burn Zombie Burn for $10 is a great deal.

I agree with this and if you liked Dante's rent that too....that the game was awesome. Bioshock can be a pain in the ass at times but great game.

Batman and UC1 or UC2 are no brainers

You can't go wrong with any of those games, although if you are talking BF:BC1 then I'd say fuck that game and go with 2. The thing is, the other four are all SP games so you'd probably be better off just renting them.

Bioshock is amazing and still one of my favorite games this gen, as is Batman.

Uncharted 1 is good but if you played 2 first then it's going to feel "old"...that's the best word I can think of to describe it...it's definitely a step backwards. Story is still good, as is the platforming, but the shooting is much more repetitive than in 2.

other then Goblin, i'm probably the next biggest comic book fan and i have to say, you need to get Batman, that game will keep you entertained for hours, its a stealth/detective game, not a shooter

IF your talking 1st one, if you can fidn it for $10 or less, the single player is really good. IDK about online cause I never played online and BC2 is also out now. But the storyline is very funny.

i have $6.75 left in my account so i could check that out for $3.25. I always have a hard time buying PSN titles because they seem so lackluster. I guess you cant expect much for $10-15 but still. I spent a ton on rockband songs at $2 a piece so whats the difference.
