    Nashville - Boston Trade

    if both sides agree it should be a trade.

    86+85+74 = 245
    85+82+77 = 244

    looks even OVR wise

    salary is even as well

    stupid to decline this

    Agreed.

    And it's not "basically Weber for Savard and Bergeron" Sullivan is a solid top-6 forward. The Bruins need more help on the wings than they do at the center position, as even post trade they have depth. Recchi or Satan can step in on the 2nd line as a centerman, probably Recchi would be best (75 FO to Satan's 70).

    Boston can still trot out a top 3 lines of:

    Wheeler-Krejci-Ryder
    Sturm-Recchi-Sullivan
    Lucic-Sobotka-Satan

    And then add Weber to an already strong defensive backline and the strong goaltending, and it's a pretty even trade for Boston.
