I agree with Flacco2Boldin and Twigg's suggestions.
The RE rail shooters are excellent, even more so if you enjoy the RE universe and backstory.
HOD: Overkill is awesome.
But the best may be Dead Space: Extraction. That one is amazing.Comment

That is insane.
I am definitely waiting for Dead Space to hit $20 as well.
This brings me to another point. Dead Space, Mad World, HotD and a few others. All are what one would consider "hard core" games and they all sold like shit. Fucking Nintendo fanboys are imbeciles. They rant and rave about how the Wii doesn't have any games for real gamers, yet when someone makes one they don't fucking buy it.Comment

DS:E is worth more than $20 imo. Of course, easy for me to say since I got it for 20$ on a lightning deal during BF week, lol.
All fanboys are imbeciles ;) but yeah, Nintendo fanboys definitely take the cake. Seems they only buy the Nintendo made games, nothing else that comes out. Definitely missing out on some great ones.Comment

BTW I have The Conduit too and it's good, but if you have a PS3/360 I would say skip it, not better than FPS games you'll find on those systems...Comment

It was decent but definitely not as good as any quality FPS on 360 or PS3. That's yet another game that was made to cater to the hardcore crowd and it sold like ass.
I really feel for Sega. They try to give the hardcore Wii owners actual games (Conduit, HotD and MadWorld) and they get shit on because no one buys their games.
As for EA, I don't know what went wrong. The original Dead Space was a critically acclaimed hit. How Extraction didn't sell well is beyond me.
I know this should be a whole different thread but this shit is a shame. I know for a fact that after the dismal sales of Extraction EA said they aren't going to make any more hardcore games for the Wii and I believe Sega said they are following suit. What a shame.Last edited by Twigg4075; 03-17-2010, 09:43 PM.Comment
