Why do all Treyarch games look like shit, how the hell can a game coming out a year after MW2 on the same engine look worse?

Won't be buying, already made that mistake with WaW. For shame, for fucking shame.

While i can agree with you that IW games seem to have better graphics, there is a reason for that.

The past two Treyarch games have had a much grittier tone than what IW has produced. While i will admit that WaW was a huge step down from COD4, i can't say that Black Ops is a step down from MW2.

IW always goes for that "awe" effect, and they picked areas of the world that had these bright vibrant colors. While Treyarch is going for that "gritty" more authentic feel to their games.

Pretty much, this.

MW2 had junk post-release support(as did CoD4, which didn't need it as badly). And the few patches they did release, took forever to hit, while everyone abused the hell out of what needed to be patched.


Treyarch has made it a point to let everyone know that they wont let that happen with the systems they've set up. So, I guess you either believe em, or you dont.

I wasn't making an excuse for them, I just wanted to point out the silliness of arguing about authenticity and realism in VIDEO GAMES......lol.

I am more concerned with obvious programming flaws that don't get fixed and hackers take advantage of.

god dam its like amature hour in here. pitty stfu about the graphics. your comparing a beta that was recorded and uploaded to youtube to MW2. do you think the capture quality might have been lost just a little along the way.....not to mention, its a fucking beta!

then you bitch about WAW which was played and looked exactly like cod4 except being in ww2 time. MW2 is by far the worst game in the series. Its a buggy glitch fest that is borderline unplayable. I expect treyarch to make a better game here than MW2 simply because they will make it playable. the gameplay, graphics and everything else will be fine because ever game follows the cod formula

Yeah, I just read a small article on Kotaku the other day where the developers were talking about how their updated graphics engine is so amazing that the game is almost too brutal. You can basically see everything when someones neck gets slit, ever drop of blood, etc.

I don't think graphics are going to be an issue with this game.

Of course personally I think MW2 graphics are a bit cartoony. The fact that they are basically using the same engine is disappointing.

As far as the multiplayer I'm also disappointed that they are continuing to reward you for every fucking thing you do. Take three step? Da da deh da deh da!(with loud electric guitar riff) 550 points! Seriously? That's what I hated about MW2. But I guess that's what the majority of the sheep on Live/PSN love.
