AP will still be a beast....

They should make it so QB's can't go deep every play, or their arm will fatigue out or something like that.

Maybe Reggie Wayne type receivers (quick cut guys , precise routes) will finally get the credit they deserve on madden and actually be hard to stop. Unlike the last 2 years.

Anyone who says they don't like this either didn't read the whole thing or are huge cheesers.

Sounds great This year it seemed like every player was in the 90's glad to see this happen, now you will know the difference between superstars and bench players

I've been waiting for this forever,

the "route running" stat was always so stupid in my opinion because if the CB had enough speed it wasn't a big deal, the only game I've ever seen that actually took route running into account was the 2K series, where you would actually see CB's jump or get shook by WR's who ran their routes to perfection.

while Indianapolis has a solid offense, almost as solid as it can get passing wise, because of their lack of speed in Madden 09, they really aren't shit. it doesn't matter what you throw, Harrison can run a route but the CB is usually fast enough to jump it, same thing applies for Wayne, and we all know this isn't something you see in real life, every Sunday you see Manning pick apart a D by hitting short passes every other play.

I'm skeptical, last years Madden was honestly the first I didn't like, I enjoyed 06, 07, 08, and all of those before it, but 09 was a total POS to me.

IDK, the day the Indianapolis offense actually runs like the Indianapolis offense in Madden, where speed isn't the issue and Harrison, Wayne, and Clark kill db's like they do every sunday with superb route running, I'll believe it. but I'll have to see it first.

Exactly , None of the colts wrs/tes have exceptional speed or height so madden doesnt give a shit. Hopefully this changes on madden 10.

Reggie Wayne is a top 10 wr in the nfl , its about damn time he plays like it on madden

Ya thats what I was thinking this is going to make the game a lot better

Am I the only one to think that EA is still going to find another way to fuck up royaly?
This stuff might be changed but it'll be at the expense of another important thing.

No it won't. You can't fuck this up. The ratings used to be like this, just like a couple of the previous ppl said.

No I'm not saying they're going to fuck the ratings up. The ratings may be perfect.

But there's a big chance that something else in the game will be fucked up.

                              Just sayin.......

But theres a big chance the world will end at some point in the next 10billion years.

Speculation FTL. If you have that attitude going into something then dont buy it
