    NCAA 11 Impressions

just fired up the game. First thing they ask or request is that u confirm or sign up for EA Account that most probably already have synced to their GT.
Then it asks u to redeem your code on the back of the manual for EA Online Pass so u can play online, use recruiting reports and teambuilder. If u dont have the code it allows u to buy it, or start a trial

i will post some more thoughts as i go.

sidenote: the midnight release...i was last and i asked about the preorder code. They didnt give them to anyone except me cause i was the only one who asked. It came on a printed receipt and says boost pack...whatever that is

Looking forward to your impressions Maynard. I'm getting this game on the 360, so we'll have to get in some games.
I only use colleges on the Canadian border. I don't actually have a favourite NCAA team.

i love these new menus. Same deal as the demo but they really look very sharp and are user friendly

Not a fan of the realism already. Did a game @ Duke and there were actually people in the stands.

Ran into a small glitch playing NCSU.Russell Wilson went to hand the ball off (PA) and kept the ball extended as if to hand it off and ran backwards 40 yards to the opposite 1 yardline and then threw the screen pass.

Blatant glitch WR screen cheese? lol

Yes it is. Anyone know why play art is being shown before every play? I can't figure out how to turn that shit off!

goto your user setting and turn play art off. U will still be able to bring it up via R2 like normal

                      Minnesota can't stop John Clay. 3 TD's through 3 quarters. 125 yds.

played a good game OSU at Mich. Problem is that Michigan sucks now and they played terribly on offense. i gave up a INT for a TD and they got 1 big play on offense for their 2 scores. I noticed when the CPU would break open a 10 yard run up the middle they would run sideline to sideline vs going up field into the clear. It wasnt blatant sideline, but the running room was going up the field and they didnt do that

Auto Sprint seems to be as good as advertised. i think this would help tame the QB running on pass plays. u cant just hit R2 and take off on a pass play cause the auto sprint wont just turn on until its supposed to. But when i needed it to turn on it would and felt very good.

i played on normal speed and it feels good like that. Slower than the demo but just right

some of the same annoyances as always. TOP has me with 25 mins vs 11 for the CPU. They just never seem to move the ball and sustain any drives. They always seem to score via bigplay. The TD drive took 2 plays and was off a big pass play. The had 220 total yards and only 46 on the ground. Yeah they were running the spread no huddle so i guess its not a big deal against michigan. But this is a common thing for the CPU over the years so if i play GT and this happens i will be pissed.

Progressive lighting is spot on. Did a 3:30 start and was a night game by the 4th quarter...NICE!

Wow. Just saw something i've never seen in these games before. On an option near the goal line the QB tripped up on the ankle of a lineman and was stumbling for a few steps, slowing him down just enough to let my guys get to him and not allow him to pitch it. That was an easy TD had that not happened. NICE!

I've had play routes go haywire multiple times now.
