Can't you just download rosters in-game?

Some good Ps3 ones:

EAs roster with names - gamingtailgate
Rosters with Player edits (more accurate roster) - buckeye02 or IronDragonU (Slight differences in freshman and such)

IronDragonU are easily the best set I have come across for PS3

just attempted a 23 yard FG that i missed off the upright. So Miami should have the ball on their 20....instead i had the ball on my own 20. At least the game had just started so i quit.

That bug has been happening for years in EA football games.....crazy stuff.

i dont get this game sometimes. I played marshall and couldnt stop them on offense. I play Miami and basically shut them down completely on offense

There is another one I experienced with FG. They scored a TD but hit the upright for the PAT. I kicked it off to them again. It's been mentioned on OS to happening to others.

I'm guessing you didn't read my post? Gamestop has a 7 day return policy on used games so it would be like a free rental I'll try it for a week and make sure I like it. If I do I'll just return it anyway and buy a new copy because I'm not going to get hosed with that online fee.

Unfortunately the two stores I checked today, and the three others I called, bid not have any used copies.

It's probably for the best anyway because Madden will be out in less than three weeks.

You might run into an issue if you buy used and the online pass has already been used up. Not sure if you can d/l rosters without it other than using a flash drive.

Again, I'd basically just be using the used copy as a rental to see if I liked the game. If I decided I did I'd return it and buy a NEW copy.

Gotcha. The stupid online pass thing is ridiculous. Just because noone wants to buy your product new because it has marginal improvement shouldn't justify charging to use something that has been free every year before this.

Also, if rumors are true, we'll be paying subscriptions to play every game online in a few years. That will probably be when I give up online. I don't play much as it is so it wouldn't bother me too much.

The CPU AI is getting better year by year. In five years, IMO, playing the CPU will almost be like playing online.

I get that they lose money because of used sales, and it wouldn't be bad if it was 4.99 or something cheaper, but I believe (and might be wrong) that it was 14.99. The micro transaction stuff is ridiculous too, before the game I checked out the "DLC" to find out its all "unlock this if your too lazy to play the game" shit. Make money off of idiots I guess.

The micro-transaction stuff is complete bullshit. I mean, I know there are idiots out there that download that garbage so, fine, let them find it. I just can't stand being bombarded with the offers every step of the way.
