So do you guys think that EA charging customers a $10 fee for a code to play online if they buy it used (or rip it off of the net) is going to reduce the cost of used copies of NCAA '11 and Madden '11 this year? I can't see somebody paying $54.99 to GameStop for a week old copy of NCAA '11 that won't work online. It would be just cheaper to buy it new.
i honestly dont feel that EA is scamming people with this deal. I think they are doing it so they dont lose money from the rip off stores selling it used. i think they would rather have people buy new copies then used+ $10 for the online pass.
that said i dont think those used sales will have a lower price. They might get a reduction sooner then normal, but i think they will keep it at $54 for as long as possible and rely on the consumers ignorance about EA online
