[360] halo reach special edition 360 slim revealed

The Halo series is no stranger to special edition Xbox 360 hardware, so it should come as no surprise that the latest entry, Halo: Reach, is also privy to such treatment. What makes it special, however, is that it's the first special edition based on the new model -- 250GB HDD, built-in 802.11n WiFi, a silver (presumably matte, based on the picture) finish, and custom, Halo-inspired sounds. The $399 price tag also nets you two special edition wireless controllers and, naturally, a copy of the game itself. Look for this September 14th, and really, if you're not into glossy black (and we feel ya, brother), this might be in your best interest to pick up. %Gallery-98042%

        That does look bad ass.

I thought the new shiny black 360 was pretty sweet but I like that one a lot better.

Too bad they couldn't somehow sell it for $350. I might bite.

Yeah they are basically only giving you a $10 discount.

          299 system, $50 game, $50 Controller.

Kind of lame but it is a 'Limited Edition' so they make you think you are getting something special.

How is that a $10 discount? Unless I'm missing something? That's $399 bro.

But yeah, you are paying for the LE. Although I'm sure a few months after release they will drop. Maybe.

Hahahha. I'm dumb. I just saw you posted the game as $50 and didn't even think anything of it.

Seems like there is a special edition bundle with every big game release for the 360.

Might get it. I hate the sound the new 360 makes when the disc is playing. Is this going to be different with the "halo-inspired sounds"?

                        I'm going to say no.

I just wish they would get rid of that stupid disc tray. Disc trays are so 1995.

                          Not too bad.

You get two controllers so it is a bit of a deal. Don't really like the graphics on the controllers though.
