OS bashes madden demo

kind of funny that they would bash the demo. Tame for most, but ripping it for them.

basically between the 2 they say it even with 10 or even a step back. The gameplay in stale and feel like madden. Gameflow oesnt seem to work right. And that most of the improvements to the gameplay is stuff we already saw in ncaa. They were hoping for a ncaa10 to ncaa 11 increase in the game, but that isnt how this game feels

Yea, I'm not expecting anything spectacular with this years edition. I was WAY more excited about NCAA, and I don't even watch college ball all that much..

Im just saying this because its about time os tells the fucking truth. im tired of heading over to thier forums every year reading their impression forums and the mfers are making madden and ncaa seem like its the best football game ever and everything is perfect. but when the game comes out for everyone its the same ol story..no passrush...cpu qb is godly....or some random glitch that ea is notorious for.

NCAA dynasty mode is actually pretty sweet this year, I'm worried to buy Madden though because all I'd do is play that online and well.. I can't seem to really connect to anyone online.

i agree hass im playing an offline dynasty and its pretty in depth, i like it but NCAA is still a one month "rental" for me basically to be traded in towards madden.

I thought this might be the year i just play ncaa year round and skip madden but i couldnt bring myself to do it. Maybe if Kentucky ever has a top 25 team that will be the year i play ncaa year round and skip out on madden.

Yea it's looking like it's this year is gonna be how NCAA 07/08 were where I play that way more than I do Madden. NCAA has returned as the "king" of football games (and I use that term VERY loosely). And for Franchise guys like me, Madden 11 is gonna be more of the same as even EA admitted not much was done at all except for "fine tuning stats" and that they're going to completely overhaul the system. Looks like Madden 12/13 is where I'll care again.

its not bashing by any honest reviewer/persons standards, but for OS its about as close to bashing and negativity on EA games, or any game for that matter, that u will see

Its ironic because they suck the devs cocks to keep themselves as industry tools for marketing and communication. Thats all they are to the developers and if they burn those bridges they wont get early copies or developer feedback on their site. EA and other devs can use their own forums for info if they wanted, but they let OS do their work for them. Which is why OS is nothing but a bunch of tools.

That's always been a knock on Madden but I always felt they did enough to improve the game most years. This year though, it's like they didn't even try. Seriously WTF did they even work on all year? Ask Madden 2.0?

EA simply pushes the limits to how little they can put into the game while pulling in the biggest bank.

I mean, think about it.

Take Madden 10 development cycle, now slash that in half for Madden 11, yet wield the same sales numbers....

Every year they will continue to slash the efforts into the game to expand the profits.

I mean, what if they can't sell more than 6M copies? What if that's it? The only way to make more money is to either raise the value of the product (not happening, although DLC is a workaround) and by making the product cheaper to make.

I mean, if people continue to buy shit on a stick, you'll keep getting shit on a stick.

The only way this stops is if Madden comes out flat and sells like 3M copies. That's the only way the higher ups will give a fuck about what people actually want. Whether they address your concerns and desires or not, you're giving them the same money, so why the fuck does anyone think EA will care about their "wish list" anyways?


The EA shareholders and Peter Moore are fucking cunts. I can't see how anyone holds anything against the developers really, they are just tools being used by those that pull the strings.


I just wish people realized that anytime Ian Cummings or Subway Jared speaks, that they are EA employees doing their job, so every single fucking word they state is biased beyond belief....yet when they do people drool over whatever the fuck they have to say.

EA blogs and dev interaction is nothing more than "reality commercials" ...kinda like what happened with reality TV.
