Man Coverage, was it just like it is in NCAA 11? Defenders basically running receivers routes, making cuts before the receiver?Comment

Ive seen this a few times, just like NCAA and past Madden games. That said, there have always been times that receivers have gotten quite a bit of separation when running a route too.Comment

kelly, virix or anyone with the game is the deep ball the same as ncaa?
I see Kelly made comments about being torched by the deep ball even if you call coverage specifically designed to cover it. NCAA was extremely easy to pass deep. I think it was easier to pass deep than mid field routes on ncaa 11.Comment

I remember one play where my buddy put devery henderson (98 speed or some shit, he has always been a rape madden player) on a slant but multiple times and he just COULDN'T get off the line from Al Harris. Harris was abusing him and it was taking 2 seconds or so for him to finally release.

Offense is fine and I think it's an easy transition and an enjoyable one with the new controls. Defense is awkward and if you're a big user the safety or linebacker you're gonna be pissed off a lot at first. Because the reactions are a little slower, you find yourself not being able to make up for cheating with a defender. It's extremely realistic..In the past you've been able to stop on a dime and go flying a million miles per hour after you've been burnt and make a play on the ball. This year, similar to NCAA, you can't stop on the dime if you're playing user defense against the receiver you need to follow that guy footstep for footstep..not just 5 yards in front of him holding Y for an easy pick--the ball will fly right over your head. Hopefully that makes sense--kinda in a rush for work.Comment
