I love this game so far and I've never been a huge fan of Halo.

I was playing team slayer with a buddy and had the armor lock class on. I just ran into a group of 3 enemies and held LB. They all stared and were waiting for me to lose the shield. Its too bad my buddy came over and killed all 3 before I lost it. It was awesome.

Another awesome thing, imo at least, is using the hologram class. I love just sending my dude out and having people shoot at it. I fuckin ran after one the first time I saw it. Hilarious

Lmao the same thing happened to me. I was playing Headhunters and I kept shooting it in the head, it wouldn't die! I thought I was lagging or something. Then I found out it was a class and kept putting clones out there

My wife offered to buy me a 360 and Reach for christmas, I may be returning to the MM Halo crew

My fanboy loyalty is in serious jeopardy

I'll wait to see how long this crew and the Reach crew on another site I frequent hold together.

Halo 2 is my favorite FPS of all time so I'm considering this.

I have two brand spanking new copies waiting to be unwrapped right now. I got one from K-Mart along with Transformers for $35 and a $25 gaming coupon. Then I went to TRU and got the second copy for my wife along with a $25 gift card.

Now who wants to snipe me in the face?

I love this game. So good.

I hope people utilize the game preference settings as to who you are looking to play with. So far so good with that, haven't ran into any 10 year olds who can't stop talking yet...

Pretty much yeah, I'll still use the PS3 for everything else. Offtopic told me I could just install onto a thumb drive up to 16GB?

The single player is by far the most amazing story of Halo ever.

 

Was not expecting Kat to be deuced in the head like that, after that happened I expected everyone to day. Pretty bummed I don't know exactly what happened to Jun though. Definitely expected Emile to go out like he did. I thought the most bad ass thing of all was the fact that after the credits you get to play until your guy dies and then it shows him get stabbed several times by elites, so awesome.

Below in the spoiler if you really want to look I will post the deaths of Nobel Team.

 

Nobel One- Carter A259
Carter becomes mortally wounded while flying himself, Emile, and Nobel Six out of the hot zone in a pelican. Emile and Nobel Six escape by jumping out of the pelican and are cut off by a Scarab. With it being his only choice, the mortally wounded Carter crashes his pelican into the Scarab destroying the Scarab and killing himself.

Nobel Two- Catherine (Kat) B320
As New Alexandria begins to be destroyed by the Covenant Cruiser fleet, Nobel team starts there march towards where Dr. Catherine Halsey is being held. Upon arriving at the landing zone for evac, Kat is shot through the head by an enemy sniper, killing her instantly.

Nobel Three- Jun A266
Upon reaching the underground research lab under the ONI facility where Dr. Catherine Halsey has taken refuge, we find out exactly what she has been hiding and working on. She tells the remaining members of Nobel Team that they must take the newly made AI, Cortana, to Captain Keyes on the Pillar of Autumn for a Spartan II, John-117. Nobel Six takes the AI and gets on a Pelican with Emile and Carter. Carter asks Jun to go with Halsey in the other Pelican and guard her with his life. Jun is never heard from again nor is it brought up about his whereabouts or fate.

Nobel Four- Emile A239 and Nobel Six
Upon arriving at the docking bay where the Pillar of Autumn is docked Emile jumps on a MAC gun to destroy incoming aircraft so the air can be clear for Captain Keyes to land on a Pelican and retrieve Cortana from Nobel Six. After the battle ends Captain Keyes lands and takes Cortana from Nobel Six. When asked to come down and board the pelican with Nobel Six we see three Zealot Elites attack Emile. Emile shotguns one but is then run through from behind by a energy sword. He pulls the sword out and kills the Elite by stabbing him with his own knife but he is finally killed by the third Elite. Just then a Covenant Cruiser comes into orbit around them and threatens the Pillar of Autumn. Nobel Six stays behind and destroys the Cruiser with the MAC gun. The Pillar of Autumn launches leaving Nobel Six alone where he fights to his death (after the credits).

Nobel Five- Jorge-052
Nobel Six and Jorge launch into space in a Saber fighter to defend Installation 9 from Seraph fighters. Upon fighting them off Jorge leaves the aircraft to attach a nuke to a pelican. More fighting ensues and Jorge along with Nobel Six infiltrate a Covenant Cruiser (the only one on Reach so far) with a bunch of marines and fight there way to the bridge. Once there Nobel Six puts the cruiser on a course with a giant Covenant ship that is in orbit only Reach, the only Covenant Ship in orbit around Reach. Upon returning back to the hanger bay Jorge announces that the Pelican and the nuke have been shot by covenant forces and the only way to fire it is manually. Nobel Six doesn't even have a chance to dispute with Jorge before Jorge removes his helmet and tells Nobel Six that he was born on this Planet and will die saving it. He then throws Nobel Six into space. The nuke explodes destroying the Covenant ship and killing Jorge, however, Many more Covenant ships then enter space surrounding Reach.
